We work after school to talk about design ideas and plan for suture projects. \r\nOur first project was to make fidget rings for students who have a tendency to fidget endlessly in class. This has made classroom time quieter for sure. We've moved on to fidget snakes and cubes and will soon try to make other things. The new equipment has already made a tremendous impact on our students, allowing them to train more effectively, safely, and with greater enthusiasm. The excitement in the weight room was undeniable when the students first saw the new equipment—there were cheers, high-fives, and an eagerness to put everything to use immediately. This donation has not only improved the quality of our workouts but has also fostered a deeper sense of pride and commitment among our athletes and students who take this class to better their health and fitness.\r\n\r\nWith these resources, our students are now able to follow structured training programs more efficiently, focusing on proper technique and progression. We've incorporated the new equipment into our daily routines, whether it's improving strength for our athletes, enhancing general fitness for all students, or ensuring everyone has equal access to high-quality training tools. Moving forward, we are focusing on tracking progress more closely, refining form, and teaching lifelong fitness habits that will benefit our students beyond high school. This project was designed to merge the holidays and the tradition of gift giving with my club's love for reading. Students logged into commonsense.org and looked for age-appropriate books that interested them. They compiled a top 10 Wishlist and from there my Santa duties began. \r\n\r\nI carefully chose 3 books from their lists and wrapped them as Christmas gifts for them to receive right before Christmas break. It is only because of your support that this was possible. They opened them with so much anticipation-- not knowing which books I had selected. They went one by one--beaming of happiness for each other's gifts.\r\n\r\nThis may be the most rewarding of all the projects I've had funded. The students raved of their new books so much that other students came to me after break saying they too got books for Christmas.
