Your generous support has made a wonderful difference in our classroom. These materials have given my students new opportunities to learn through hands-on exploration, creativity, movement, and play. For young children with different learning needs, having materials that they can touch, move, build with, and explore makes learning more meaningful and exciting.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the Magnetic Building Tiles, they were immediately excited. They wanted to touch the pieces, connect them, build structures, and see what they could create. We have been using the tiles during our play-based learning and small-group activities to practice shapes, colors, counting, fine-motor skills, problem-solving, communication, sharing, turn-taking, and teamwork. The students are not simply playing—they are learning important academic, social, and developmental skills while having fun.\r\n\r\nOne of the most special parts of our project has been connecting the Magnetic Building Tiles with stories about dogs. The children use the tiles to build houses, rooms, beds, and special spaces for the dogs in our stories. Our dog characters include PapaMan, Luna, Gray, Roho, Ninya Mini, Ninya, Blue, and Blue-Luy. The children enjoy deciding what each dog needs in its home and then working together to build it. They use their imagination to create stories and adventures for the dogs, which also gives them opportunities to practice language and communication.\r\n\r\nPapaMan is my own dog, and he has become a very special part of our classroom stories and the children's imagination. ❤️🐾 The children love hearing stories about PapaMan and his friends, and they often come up with their own ideas about what the dogs are doing, where they are going, and what kind of homes they need. It is amazing to watch their creativity grow as they build something with their own hands and then turn it into a story.\r\n\r\nBecause of these materials, I have been able to create learning experiences that are more interactive and accessible for my Pre-K ESE students. Some children may have difficulty expressing themselves with words, but when they are building, creating, and playing, they find new ways to communicate their ideas. The Magnetic Building Tiles have helped create opportunities for students to make choices, work independently, ask for help, cooperate with friends, and feel proud of what they have accomplished.\r\n\r\nWe sometimes joke that one day Disney might make a cartoon about PapaMan and all of his dog friends! Maybe one of our little classroom stories will inspire a bigger story someday. ❤️🐶 Thank you, Disney, for believing in children, supporting creativity, and helping make our classroom a place where students can learn, imagine, create, and dream big. Your kindness has helped bring so much joy and meaningful learning into our classroom","fullyFundedDate":1781564745273,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-for-pre-k-ese/10335460/","projectTitle":"Classroom for Pre-K ESE","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kataleja","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8067145_orig.png?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1788398997797","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8067145"},{"teacherId":3836750,"projectId":9966511,"letterContent":"We are so excited to receive wireless microphones for chorus club at Amelia Earhart Elementary school.
