With consistent practice, students are developing stronger letter formation, connecting letters to sounds and words, and building the foundational skills they need to become confident readers and writers.\r\n\r\nThese resources will support so many kindergarten students each year, with the potential to benefit more than 600 students over five years. Because these materials are reusable, they will continue to support students year after year.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this project is helping make learning to write an encouraging and joyful experience. By giving students these tools and confidence to practice independently, we are helping every child see themselves as a capable reader, writer, and learner.","fullyFundedDate":1789565238796,"projectUrl":"project/building-strong-readers-and-writers-thro/10581984/","projectTitle":"Building Strong Readers and Writers Through Handwriting","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Asher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1008952_orig.jpg?crop=1983,1983,x33,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1788374507115","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/lisa-asher"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_46580","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":862,"numTeachers":43,"percentFrplEligible":42,"percentAsian":9,"percentBlack":28,"percentWhite":33,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":22,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":6,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"20.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":88.7,"schoolId":46580,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Dr N H Jones Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Dr N H Jones Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/marion-county-public-schools/dr-n-h-jones-elementary-school/46580"}
