They couldn't wait to open them. I think the dry erase boards are one of their favorite items. We use them daily, especially in math. My students are able to work out a math problem and share their answers with their classmates. They use the pencil pouches to store their dry erase markers, erasers, and pencils. The Daily language books and pencils are helping to improve their writing and grammar skills. \r\n\r\nMany of the students did not have headphones at the beginning of the school year. They struggled to keep the volumes down on their computers, so that others were not distracted by the noise. The headphones have helped the students during computer time stay focused. As a result of having individual headphone the room is free of noise and each individual student can focus on their individual computer activities. I have noticed that careless mistakes that the students were making on computerized activities have declined. They can hear all of the essential information because of the headphones. \r\n\r\nI am very thankful for your donations to my classroom. The students came dressed as Harry Potter, Mrs. Frizzle, Peter Pan and many other book characters.
