A lot of my students are struggling readers. They are missing some of the basic skills which makes a huge difference. The requested tablets will be used to download different apps that can help them learn these skills. By having hands-on activities that keep the students engaged, the students will be more willing to work on the skills that they need. The tablets will assist with differentiated instruction for each child. Although some skills are touched on in class, additional instruction is needed to help my students get to the level they need to be on to achieve their goals.
