We are still discovering more and more ways that we can use it. Now, thanks to your support, we are transforming our learning spaces and lessons in ways that truly inspire. From student-designed anchor charts to personalized math manipulatives and encouraging signage for state testing, the possibilities seem endless. \r\n\r\nOur STEAM Club is especially energized by this new tool. Not only did the snacks help to increase my student's desire to work on Mathematics but it also increased their confidence and the more confident they felt, the better their attitudes became. I cannot thank you enough! \r\n\r\nI have been a teacher for over 30 years, and seeing the looks on their faces when they saw all of the choices of snacks was so rewarding. My kids knew that not only did I care about their learning, but the relationships that I was able to build because they understood how much I cared about their well being. If they were hungry, they knew they could get a snack. I sent a few snacks home with students that I knew were food insecure at home. That gesture encouraged them to try harder to learn Math with me. I wouldn't have been able to do that without your donation. A few boys that were usually absent 3 days a week - every morning that they came to school, they came to see me and got to pick a snack. That cut down their absences to usually only 1 day a week or sometimes it went down to 0 ! Again, your support made a world of difference in their education. They weren't learning if they weren't in school.\r\n\r\nI'm also happy to report that we had the highest gains in student achievement on state testing that we've ever had. We increased our proficiency by 10% over last year! That's a huge increase - and your donation played a large role in increasing our student's attitude toward learning. Together we were able to make an impact in the lives of my students.
