I am writing to express my profound gratitude for your generous support of my Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program through the Donors Choose platform. Your contribution to my Nintendo Switch project was the crucial first step in bringing an innovative and highly motivating reward system to the students at my school. Because of your belief in reinforcing positive behavior, I successfully secured the first console and launched what has quickly become one of the most exciting incentives for our role models. Thank you for investing in my students' character and academic environment.\r\n\r\nThe success of my initial project caught the attention of local partners in a truly inspiring way. I am thrilled to share that the esteemed Publix Charities was so impressed by what I accomplished together with your help on Donors Choose that they extended their own generosity to my cause. Recognizing the power of this reward system, they matched our efforts by providing funds for an additional Nintendo Switch! This incredible act of support allows me to expand my program immediately, creating dedicated, separate grade-level rewards and increasing the overall impact of my PBIS initiative.\r\n\r\nI was excited to put the consoles to use immediately after the close of the first grading period. To reward those students who consistently demonstrated positive behavior throughout the entire quarter, I hosted our inaugural Switch event. The school's music room was transformed into a friendly, competitive gaming center, offering a fantastic moment of relaxation and celebration for students who had just completed their first major round of testing.\r\n\r\nThe atmosphere during the event was electric! Students who had been identified as positive behavior role models were invited to team up with their friends to compete in intense rounds of Mario Kart. It was a huge hit! The room was filled with laughter, supportive cheering, and spirited competition. It was heartwarming to see the students bonding over competitive gameplay, relaxing with their peers, and experiencing the well-deserved joy of being rewarded for their great behavior in being role models at my school.\r\n\r\nUltimately, your contribution has done much more than just provide a video game console; it has helped me build a culture where positive action is highly valued, celebrated, and recognized publicly. The ability to use this reward system, now amplified by the support of Publix Charities, helps me acknowledge the students who are consistently leading by example at my school. Thank you once again for making this expanded reward program possible and for helping me create role models for the entire school community.","fullyFundedDate":1755729545371,"projectUrl":"project/switching-to-great-behavior-positive/9382907/","projectTitle":"\"Switching\" to Great Behavior!: Positive Behavior Intervention System Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Young","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1519566_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1501631752844","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/drumsforall"},{"teacherId":9132981,"projectId":9490183,"letterContent":"Thank you for providing our student with brand new sturdy mailboxes!
