They immediately noticed how soft and colorful it was and couldn't wait to sit on it. One student laid down and said, \"This feels like home!\" It quickly became our favorite gathering spot for morning meetings, group discussions, and read-alouds.\r\n\r\nWe recently used the carpet as the center of a storytelling circle. Students sat in a cozy circle, shared their original short stories, and listened to one another with full attention. The comfort of the carpet helped them relax and focus, making the experience more engaging and meaningful for everyone.\r\n\r\nThe carpet has also become an anchor for small-group learning activities and quiet reading time. It's amazing how one change in the physical environment can impact the classroom community so positively.\r\n\r\nNext, we're planning a \"buddy reading\" project where older and younger students will pair up on the carpet to share books and build literacy skills together.
