As an inclusion teacher in high school science, I work with students who face a wide range of learning challenges. Many of them struggle with reading, math, and staying motivated in a subject that already feels overwhelming. Because of your generosity, I am now able to offer simple but meaningful rewards—Jolly Ranchers, Wyler drink mixes, Bazooka gum, Starbursts, and Ticonderoga pencils—that help keep my students engaged and willing to push through tough lessons.\r\n\r\nThe moment the students saw the new incentives, they lit up. Several immediately asked how they could earn them, and others were excited just knowing that their effort would be recognized in a fun and positive way. These incentives have already helped me encourage participation during labs, reinforce good habits during independent work, and celebrate small wins for students who often need that extra boost to keep going. For some students, something as small as a favorite candy or a fresh pencil makes a big difference in their confidence and mindset.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly strengthened the positive culture in my classroom. With these incentives in hand, my students are more motivated, more persistent, and more willing to take risks in their learning. Many students expressed that they learn better with hands-on activities and that cooking is fun. They asked to do more cooking. One student asked if we could cook together once a week. \r\n\r\nI enjoyed the opportunity this project provided for me to bond with my students. Many quiet students who are normally reluctant to volunteer were very active during the activity. I love the opportunity to connect with these students. I find that my students are more motivated learners when we have a strong bond. \r\n\r\nThank you for the opportunity to have fun while learning. The Crayola Take Note Dry Erase Markers have been a game-changer for collaboration on our small whiteboards; they're vibrant and low-odor, making brainstorming sessions much more enjoyable. The Enday #2 Pencils and Paper Mate Flair Felt Pens mean we have fewer distractions and more focused writing time since no one is constantly asking to borrow a pencil or struggling with a dried-out marker. \r\n\r\nWhat's Next for Our Project:\r\n\r\nStudents will be using the new Sharpie Chisel Tip Markers to create large, colorful draft posters and concept maps for their stories.\r\n\r\nThe Learning Lounge (the rug) will be used for students to practice reading their stories aloud and giving peer feedback in a supportive, relaxed environment.\r\n\r\nYour support didn't just provide materials; it provided comfort, organization, and inspiration that will allow my students to reach new creative heights.
