Your contribution has made my students more excited to come to class and more comfortable in the space. \r\n\r\nThe resources you funded—specifically the soft light covers and calming lamps—have been a true game-changer. For the first weeks, the fluorescent overhead lights caused many students to complain of headaches and eyestrain. Since installing the light covers and introducing the ambient lamps, I no longer get complaints of headaches, which means that students are better able to learn and grow!\r\n\r\nYou also purchased a tower fan for my classroom. Our classroom runs pretty warm, so the fan makes the environment cooler and everyone more comfortable. This fan became essential to the students' learning environment when we had an unexpected A/C failure a couple months ago. The fan allowed students to cool off and continue learning, especially for those who had long treks across campus from the portables or who were coming from P.E..\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and in the power of a supportive classroom environment. Students love getting special treats and items to use to support them. Notebooks and pens were the first items selected by students. They plan to use these for journaling feelings and to use as coping skills.
