As a first year teacher still trying to stock my classroom with as much as I can, your support is so appreciated. When it was time to purchase the item requested, unfortunately it was no longer available. However, I was able to buy some much needed items for my classroom. We have started the UFLI program in my classroom and a huge problem I was facing was where to keep all the white boards, markers, and supplies needed in a place where they were easily accessible to my students. We had been losing so much instructional time passing the material out each time not to mention their attention while waiting to start the lesson. With your generosity and support I was able to purchase chair pockets for each of my students. They have all their supplies conveniently right behind them at all times. I am able to get to my lesson so much quicker and it is making such a huge difference! These pockets allow them to keep all of their supplies right them with them but in a way that does not distract them! It was just the thing I needed! \r\n\r\nI was also able to buy some much needed supplies like new crayons, we were fully out and almost all of my students were using broken crayons and missing colors that they needed. Now, everyone had a fresh set and I have extras to add when needed! I was able to buy new play dough for my students as well! They LOVE play dough and we use it in so many different ways. We make letters, we stamp out our sight words in it, we use it at recess, and we also use it in math to practice adding and subtracting! Most of our play dough was mixed up and no longer soft enough to enjoy! Their little faces lit up when they saw the huge box of fresh play dough, they were so excited! \r\n\r\nI, along with my students, thank you so much for allowing us to get these much needed items for our classroom!
