The parents and staff worked together to make this a success and of course you helped by helping us acquire materials needed. \r\n This week students will do their glow lessons in music class. They will do expressive movement with blacklight responsive materials to Bach's Tocatta and Fugue in d minor. The students are also working on creating their fluorescent underwater sea creatures for their Spring Concert to perform in our pieces composed by my colleague that will feature our Orchestra and Choir. \r\n Thank you so much for supporting our lessons, celebrations and performances at our school! They had huge smiles on their faces, and there were many \r\npositive comments such as \"This is so cool!\" as they spun the bookshelf around.\r\n\r\nOnce assembled, we were able to make a display of Valentine's Day books on one rotating shelf, and a display of Black History Month books on the other. It was so nice to have a designated place for each display that the students knew exactly where to look for those books. \r\n\r\nThis month, we are featuring Famous Women in History!
