We're learning how to cook, sit, and eat like people would in restaurants. All of this practice helps us to be able to go out into the real world. We baked a cake for a birthday. Baked a pizza for lunch. We're learning to set the table and remove dishes from the table. The cleaning buckets are small but they are better than having to tote water from the bathroom to wash dishes. All my guys are learning rituals that they need for everyday skills at home. All of the cooking items are invaluable with our weekly projects. \r\n\r\nThe educational materials are wonderful for daily work. The crayon sets are so nice because mine are so old and now I can create a project with the old ones and the guys get to work with the new ones. We now have plenty of glue, paint, and working materials to create all kinds of projects for mother's Day, father's Day, any holiday. It allows the students to get their hands dirty and create tactile items to give to loved ones. They cannot go out and shop for themselves, so they get to create lovely items for their loved ones, who cherish the homemade gift. \r\n\r\nNot only do my students complete academic work daily, we work on functional and social skills. Every item I received helps enable my students to advance their skills in all areas. Thank you very much from every one of my gentlemen and from me for your generosity.\r\n\r\nNext I'm looking for a portable tetherball for my guys that need some physical activity.
