Because of your kindness, we received essential supplies: copy paper, printer ink, tissues, paper towels, and Ticonderoga pencils. These materials have already made a big difference in how smoothly our classroom runs and how confidently my students learn.\r\n\r\nThe copy paper and ink have allowed me to print daily learning materials—worksheets, guided notes, practice activities, and assessments—that help reinforce key concepts. In the past, I often had to limit what I printed, which meant fewer opportunities for students to engage with hands-on and personalized learning. Now, I can create and distribute tailored resources to meet each student's individual needs. Whether it's review packets, enrichment activities, or extra practice for those who need more support, having access to printed materials has helped my students stay organized, focused, and more confident in their abilities.\r\n\r\nThe Ticonderoga pencils have also been a classroom favorite. They're reliable, comfortable to write with, and hold up much better than the typical school pencils. In many classrooms, it's surprisingly common for students to lack basic writing tools, leading to frustration and lost learning time. \r\n\r\nThe tissues and paper towels have been especially important for keeping our learning space clean, healthy, and comfortable. With so many students in and out of the room each day, we go through these supplies quickly—especially during cold and allergy seasons. Having tissues readily available means students can stay in class when they don't feel 100%, and the paper towels help us take quick care of spills or messes. These supplies help students feel cared for and contribute to a positive, respectful classroom environment.\r\n\r\nMore than anything, your donation has shown my students that people care about their education. Many of them come from families that can't always afford extra school supplies. Knowing that someone out there values their learning experience has had a lasting emotional impact. \r\n\r\nThank you for believing in education and investing in students you've never even met. Your generosity has made a lasting impact in our classroom, and we are truly grateful for your support.","fullyFundedDate":1745869822776,"projectUrl":"project/meeting-basic-needs/9261440/","projectTitle":"Meeting Basic Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Gabriel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5802511_orig.jpg?crop=481,481,x0,y57&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1623437595407","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5802511"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_44713","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1132,"numTeachers":48,"percentFrplEligible":56,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":18,"percentWhite":57,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":14,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"23.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":80.6,"schoolId":44713,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Santa Fe High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Santa Fe High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/alachua-county-school-district/santa-fe-high-school/44713"}
