The middle school students love to play street hockey and by getting more sticks, we are able to have more games happening at the same time. Since we have gotten the sticks, the students have asked to play outside and inside more than once. It seems to be an activity that gets everyone involved and everyone seems to enjoy. We love seeing our students enjoy physical activity. \r\nThe mesh bags we got for the project have been so helpful throughout the year. In the current picture, we have pedometers in the bag. During some of our lessons, the students would rather walk than play the activity. They are walking and recording their steps at the end of class. The next time they walk, the try to walk more than they did in their previous walk. Because our classes are moving from location to location, the mesh bags are super helpful to carry our equipment wherever we need to go. The small mesh bags are great for carrying our smaller balls, pedometers, jump ropes, etc. Another item that has been helpful in moving room to room has been the game boxes. Sometimes our PE classes are trapped in classrooms and we need to bring board games to the class.
