A lot of students did not know it was originally a story. We were able to read all about using one of the books from this grant. Students were excited and engaged to learn the story and hear the music. \r\n\r\nStudents love to read and they were amazed at how many books there are about music and musicians. They have been really enjoying the books about the lives of musicians and how they discovered their talents and persevere through challenges in their lives. Students are more comfortable and focused throughout the day, no longer distracted by the hard surface of their chairs. They also love using the cushions during floor activities—since our classroom floor isn't carpeted, the extra padding has made reading, group work, and our class read-a-thon much more enjoyable.\r\n\r\nYour kindness and generosity have truly transformed our learning environment.
