If my project is funded, I will be able to use these materials to make hybrid and remote learning easier for all of the students. Since I have to teach "Zoomers" and "Roomers" at the same time, the document camera will make things easier to see if a student is a Zoomer. When the students are "Roomers", materials can be used in school.
For example, if the students had digital and paper access to the Scholastic Magazine, the "Zoomers" could access it at home and the "Roomers" could have the magazine in the classroom. Also, if I had Post-It Note Chart Paper, the students could easily see anchor charts that I have created hanging on the classroom walls. The books that I requested would be a great bonus since I am unable to provide a classroom library where students can share books. One of the hardest things about this pandemic is being unable to share books amongst the students. We follow Stephen Covey's Leader in Me Program and many of the requested items would be used for the students' social and emotional learning. If I had the books I requested, I could provide each student with their own copy of a book to read as much as they want! All of the requested items would be such a terrific motivator for learning during these challenging times.
