These six different colored folders help are students stay organized by subject. This is one of our school goals, being more organized. The students are easily able to find their materials for each subject. For the teacher, it is also easy for us to see who is ready for the subject because of the colors. Not only was I thrilled with the items, so were the students. \r\nAfter the vocabulary cards arrived, I started to use them during their morning work time when they are settling. We discuss the questions on the card that I project under the Smart Panel lamp. The cards are very well written and they expose students to a variety of word meanings. Children need to be trained in being able to figure out unknown words.","fullyFundedDate":1760310943387,"projectUrl":"project/soaring-with-fluency/9818032/","projectTitle":"Soaring with Fluency","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ms. Nagy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10308886"},{"teacherId":10057583,"projectId":9417115,"letterContent":"We are starting the recorders in 3rd grade next week. I have many students this year that have a really hard time sitting still for longer than even 10 seconds, they are always on the move. The kick bands, wobble cushions and fidget toys have been a phenomenal resource for them to be able to have sensory input and get movement in a more productive and less distracting way. Some students just utilize on of those tools while others need all three. It has helped them focus so much. Our weighted lap pad is another classroom favorite. It is in our calm corner and my first graders love using it when they are having big emotions and it helps them regulate their emotions and find peace so much easier. \r\n\r\nMy clipboards have really gotten their use out of them already this year. I have several students that can not see the board very well and will use them when they come to sit on the carpet (which they also love!) to do their work so they can see better. \r\n\r\nAlso thanks to having the big digital clock my firsties can use it to tell the time and what is coming next on the schedule. I love that for them!\r\n\r\nThanks to you our classroom is running so smooth already this year and my students love coming to school everyday into a classroom that feels like home.
