In our pre-k classroom, we teach social emotional literacy and mindfulness. \r\nOur new area rug gives us a cozy and soft space to meet for our group times. During our group times we learn what we can do when we have big feelings like anger, frustration, or sadness. We practice different breathing techniques to help calm our bodies so when those frustrating situations happen we know we can take deep breaths to calm pour bodies.\r\nWe have been practicing a variety of yoga poses on our yoga mats. The students look forward to yoga daily.
