In order to engage our students, we need to provide them with many opportunities for hands on learning. This requires a wide variety of materials for them to manipulate as they learn. We facilitate their learning experiences in our classroom with a dramatic play area, science table, writing table, literacy table, math table, block area, library, art table, sensory table, and safe place. The children move throughout the different areas in the classroom as they learn through play. Our students are in need of materials to enhance their learning experiences in the different areas of our classroom.
