Because of your donations, my students now have access to book organizers, a new table, a classroom document camera, and colorful paper—resources that are already making a meaningful difference in our daily learning.\r\n\r\nThe book organizers have helped students keep their reading materials neat and easy to access, which has made independent reading time smoother and more focused. The new table has quickly become a favorite spot for small-group instruction, collaboration, and student conferences. One of the most exciting additions has been the classroom document camera. We use it daily to model math strategies, review writing pieces together, and closely examine texts as a class. Students are more engaged because they can clearly see examples and participate in discussions with confidence. The colorful paper has added creativity and excitement to projects, anchor charts, and writing assignments, making our classroom feel more inviting and student-centered.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were thrilled. Their faces lit up with excitement, and they couldn't wait to explore how everything would be used. Several students immediately commented on how \"professional\" the classroom felt and were eager to help organize and set up the new supplies.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will continue to support our current lessons in reading, writing, and math. Students are working on writing projects and problem-solving tasks where the document camera and table allow for shared learning and collaboration. The organizers will help students take more responsibility for their materials, building independence and organization skills.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has truly enhanced our classroom environment and created opportunities for deeper learning and engagement. Thank you for giving my students tools that help them feel excited, confident, and supported every day.","fullyFundedDate":1760488337471,"projectUrl":"project/lawson-library/9825550/","projectTitle":"Lawson Library","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lawson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10311015"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_44478","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":280,"numTeachers":23,"percentFrplEligible":76,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":64,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":12,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"12.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":69.6,"schoolId":44478,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Hartly Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Hartly Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/delaware/capital-school-district/hartly-elementary-school/44478"}
