The bean bags offer a cozy alternative to standard classroom seating, helping to reduce fatigue and allowing students to feel more relaxed. This comfort has really enhanced their focus while working. When I told the students that someone donated the stools, they were thrilled. Two of them even asked if they could help with the unboxing, and another wanted to know if they could use one at their desk. They were excited about the bright and inviting colors. During our reading group, one boy mentioned how nice it was to sit on the stool, as he could reach the table with his feet dangling. Their enthusiasm was contagious!\r\n\r\nThe pop-it math 10 frame has been a real favorite. It's such a satisfying sensory tool that allows my students to add and subtract within 10. Some are even using two pop-it 10 frames to tackle two-digit addition. Watching them engage with this tool and enjoy learning is truly heartwarming. The number line tool is a bit more challenging for my students, as it is for many. While some are getting the hang of it, others prefer the 10-frame because it feels easier. I'll keep modeling and practicing with the number line so they can develop this new strategy for upper grades.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, my goal is to maintain a comfortable, fun, and engaging classroom atmosphere. The items you funded have been a tremendous support.\r\n\r\nHaving a bean bag chair allowed for me to create a nice and cozy calming corner. The puzzles have been amazing to use as incentives for earned free time, helping students have fun while applying their thinking and problem-solving skills.\r\nOne of the games my students found to be the most fun is \"Pop the Pig.\" I always add a therapeutic twist to each game; with \"Pop the Pig,\" each color represented a feeling, and the student had to share what made them feel that way. The laughs filled the room, and it made my heart happy.\r\n\r\nI also find myself using the vibrating massager with children with high sensory-seeking behaviors. To see them able to soothe with the massages is amazing.\r\n\r\nI can't say it enough. It's like the project gave them permission to be creative and take risks without worrying about \r\n\r\nThe overall atmosphere is calmer but more productive. There's still excitement and movement, but it's focused. Students are proud of what they're creating, and they're eager to share. I've also seen behavior improve because the students are truly engagedI've also noticed that the project has helped build confidence in students who don't always shine during traditional lessons. Some of my quietest kids suddenly become leaders when given the chance to work hands-on or think outside the box. It's been amazing to see different strengths come out.\r\n\r\nOverall, this project hasn't just improved academics—it's improved our classroom community.
