One of the most exciting moments was when we began using the materials during our classroom assessments. Students were eager to put the new privacy screens to use as they worked to demonstrate their learning.\r\nWhen my students first saw the new carpet dots , their excitement was immediate! They were curious about how we would use them and couldn't wait to get started. Their enthusiasm and the questions they asked showed just how much these resources sparked their curiosity. It was wonderful to see students effeciently and quickly move from their desks to their carpet spots.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to use our carpet spots to move on to partner share. Students will have opportunities to work together, apply new skills, share their ideas, and reflect on their learning. The thermal printer you helped fund has become such an exciting tool in our classroom. With it, I can quickly create labels, visuals, and learning materials that make our classroom more organized, engaging, and personalized.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest impacts has been on my students' independence. With printed visuals and reminders, they can easily navigate routines on their own. Building independence is key in kindergarten! I've also been able to print resources that support reading, writing and math—like alphabet charts, number identification and more.\r\n\r\nThe printer has also been a wonderful way to connect with families. I've used it to create stickers for parents as reminders of upcoming school events, like All School Morning Meetings and spirit wear days. My students and I were super excited and overwhelmed by the generosity of EVERYONE! We were very appreciative when several boxes of containers and pouches were delivered to our classroom. I explained to my students that due to generous people donating money, we were able to receive these FABULOUS gifts to help make our learning even more meaningful and organized.\r\n\r\nThis donation has greatly impacted my students' learning thus far. This year at our school we are implementing a new math program. This new program was the inspiration for this project. The new program comes with a lot of wonderful manipulatives to help with student learning, however it's difficult to provide easy access to the materials without a mess. \r\n\r\nThe new storage solutions have helped build independence and keep our classroom a clutter-free place to learn. Students can now gather materials on their own from our blue colored bins. Students can play math games which are organized by the colored pouches. Each pouch contains all the materials needed for the activity. So, these cases were greatly needed. \r\nNow my guitars are in a secure, nicely padded bag with a lot of extra room so they wont get damaged when taken in and out of the cases.
