Your generosity has made a wonderful difference in my classroom and has helped me create a more engaging and welcoming reading environment for my students.\r\n\r\nMy classroom is a place where all of my students read every week. One of the biggest challenges for me, however, is maintaining a classroom library with enough books at a variety of reading levels and on a wide range of topics and interests. Because my students are learning in a second language, I want reading to feel enjoyable and exciting rather than like another difficult assignment. My goal is for students to become so interested in a story that they forget they are reading in a second language and simply get lost in the book.\r\n\r\nThis DonorsChoose project allowed me to purchase books on many different topics and at many different reading levels. Our classroom library now has books about soccer, pirates, travel, mysteries, adventures, and many other subjects that really resonate with my students. Having this variety gives students the opportunity to choose books based on their own interests while also finding books that are just right for their reading abilities.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make our classroom library more diverse, interesting, and accessible. Your support is giving my students more opportunities to read for pleasure, explore new topics, and experience the joy of getting completely absorbed in a good book.
