These kits tie directly in with our electricity unit and allow the students to get the hands on learning and practice they excel at. The kits make the learning come to life and more meaningful to everyone! \r\n\r\nWhen the kits were delivered to the school, my students were so excited (and so was I!)! They were delivered in a huge box, and they couldn't wait for me to open them. They knew all about me appearing on NBC news and that the kits were purchased through donations, so it led to a great class conversation about generosity and giving to others. They thought it was extremely kind of people to donate to us and they were very grateful. \r\n\r\nWe will continue to use the kits through January until we begin our last two science units of the year, Sound Waves and Communication and Human Body, Vision, and the Brain. My class loves them so much though I think I will keep them available to use during \"free\" creative time they sometimes earn in class.
