The students were so excited to see \"new\" materials. Being in the setting we are in, we are not always offered the best or prioritied materials. Dear Martin was a huge hit with studens becasue most of them felt they could relate the the context. After reading 1984, they were able to see comparisons in the present day climate we are in. Feeling pushed or forced to conform to specific stereotypes in more common that we can imagine. The shelf and paper storage provides my class with a put together, conhesive space for learning. Students helped build the shelf and storage, which gave a great confidence boost. They had their pictures taken a sheet made to display that showed who put together the ideas.
