There were 14 students that joined the gardening club and we planted a raspberry bush, grew cucumbers, flowers, beans, and peas in the raised bed garden we made on the school grounds. \r\nWith the herbs, students were able to connect \"cilantro chicken\" with the actual cilantro leaves. They connected oregano with the taste of pizza as well.\r\nEach student was able to transplant and grow a tomato plant or a strawberry to bring home.
