What started as a piece of technology has truly transformed into something much more meaningful — a way to create , give recognition to students , and support for a charitable organization.\r\nOne of the most rewarding experiences has been using it to make custom rewards for my students. Designing and printing unique items tailored to their achievements has allowed me to celebrate their hard work. Those little rewards have strengthened our classroom community and motivated everyone to keep pushing forward.\r\nThe 3D printer also let me create special medals for a contest we held. Participants walked away not just with a prize, but with a lasting symbol of their effort and talent. It elevated the entire event and showed everyone how much their participation mattered.\r\nPerhaps most meaningfully, I've been able to contribute to Make-A-Wish by printing custom items for children facing difficult challenges. These items are being sold at the school by my Make A Wish Club and the money is going to be given to Make A Wish to help children with critical illnesses. \r\nNone of this would have been possible without the 3D printer. It has amplified kindness, creativity, and connection in ways I never imagined when I first set it up.\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this possible.","fullyFundedDate":1767131607458,"projectUrl":"project/3d-print-a-whole-new-world/9934545/","projectTitle":"3D Print a Whole New World","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Marmor","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9059252_orig.png?crop=390,390,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1685024724339","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9059252"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_43487","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":563,"numTeachers":56,"percentFrplEligible":41,"percentAsian":6,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":44,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":38,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"10.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":27.3,"schoolId":43487,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Western Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Western Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/connecticut/greenwich-public-school-district/western-middle-school/43487"}
