My students and I absolutely love it and use it every single day. It has saved us so much time and taught organization skills for them.\r\n\r\nIn the beginning of the year, the cubbies acted as our desks as students practiced a middle school environment and rotated desks. The cubbies acted as their lockers they stored everything they needed in there. This was the main goal of the project and why I sought out this shelf and raised funds. The kids loved being treated like middle schoolers and practicing strong organizational skills.\r\n\r\nOver the course of the Fall this changed and we adapted the environment to meet their needs. Now, we no longer rotate seats but the students still use their cubbies every day to store their chromebooks, headphones, etc. This has helped them to develop their executive functioning skills which they will need to succeed not only in middle school, but in life!\r\n\r\nMy students and I were overcome with gratitude to know that so many people were supporting them and wanting them to succeed. We will continue to use them every day.
