Students in my classroom will be reading in the target language every class when they come in. Not only will this improve their comprehension and understanding of the language, it will improve confidence, encourage reading outside of the classroom and it will curb technology use. \r\n\r\nYour donation allowed me to choose scores of titles ranging in difficulty. I have labeled each book by difficulty according to the national proficiency standards to guide the students towards a level that is pushing their understanding. I also chose many books they may have already read which makes the more complex books not so daunting a task. \r\n\r\nStudents will journal about what they are reading, and asking questions about the text along the way. I am excited to begin next year with such a wonderful new resource. This would not be possible if not for you!
