Thank you for making this opportunity possible for my students! While many people use tablets at home for entertainment or communication, in our classroom the iPad is an engaging educational resource that supports learning in meaningful ways. Students use it to research topics, access interactive learning apps, practice important reading and math skills, create digital projects, and collaborate with classmates. It also allows me to provide personalized learning experiences that meet students where they are and help them grow at their own pace.\r\n\r\nThe students are most excited about being able to demonstrate their learning in creative ways. Whether they're creating presentations, recording explanations of their thinking, or exploring educational activities, the iPad makes learning feel interactive and engaging. They love having the opportunity to use technology that encourages creativity while building important digital literacy skills they'll use throughout their education.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have especially benefited from having access to the iPad. My visual learners and students who need additional academic support have embraced the interactive features, which make learning more accessible and help them build confidence. Students who are sometimes reluctant to participate during traditional lessons are often eager to engage when using the iPad, allowing them to share their ideas and showcase their strengths in new ways.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has given my students opportunities to explore, create, and learn with technology that prepares them for the future. Thank you for investing in their success and making our classroom an even more engaging place to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1765914105630,"projectUrl":"project/help-provide-my-ell-learners-a-voice/9710161/","projectTitle":"Help Provide My ELL Learners a Voice","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. M.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/351920"},{"teacherId":7960393,"projectId":8433506,"letterContent":"The new math supplies have made a noticeable difference in how my students engage with learning. We've been using hands-on manipulatives—such as base-ten blocks, fraction tiles, and math games—during small-group instruction and independent centers. Students who typically hesitate to participate have been eager to share their thinking, physically demonstrating their reasoning rather than just explaining it.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement was immediate and genuine. Students were curious, energized, and couldn't wait to explore everything. That initial enthusiasm has carried over into our daily lessons—students are more confident, collaborative, and willing to take risks because they have concrete tools to support their understanding.","fullyFundedDate":1727365057137,"projectUrl":"project/mathematicians-hard-at-work/8433506/","projectTitle":"Mathematicians Hard at Work","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Stegos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7960393_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1655372946701","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7960393"},{"teacherId":7960393,"projectId":9987411,"letterContent":"The addition of these new books has made a noticeable difference in my students' daily learning experience. Each day, we set aside 30 minutes for silent reading, and this time has become one of the most anticipated parts of our schedule. With access to a wider variety of engaging and relevant texts, students are more focused, motivated, and eager to dive into their books. Instead of struggling to find something that holds their attention, they now quickly settle in and become immersed in reading, building both stamina and confidence.\r\nI have seen a significant increase in student engagement during this independent reading time. Students are excited about the new books they've received and often can't wait to continue reading where they left off the day before. They frequently share recommendations with one another, discuss their favorite characters and moments, and demonstrate a deeper connection to what they are reading. This enthusiasm has created a positive reading culture in the classroom where books are valued and celebrated.","fullyFundedDate":1777326634642,"projectUrl":"project/new-year-new-books/9987411/","projectTitle":"New Year, New Books","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Stegos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7960393_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1655372946701","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7960393"},{"teacherId":351920,"projectId":9710131,"letterContent":"Our new color printer has made a tremendous difference in our classroom, and we are so grateful for your generosity! Having access to high-quality color printing has enhanced the way my fifth graders learn every day. Color visuals make charts, diagrams, maps, graphic organizers, and reading materials much easier for students to understand and engage with. Whether we're exploring science concepts, analyzing informational texts, or creating math activities, the printed materials are more meaningful and accessible.\r\n\r\nThe students are especially excited to see their own work come to life in color. They take great pride in creating projects, posters, and presentations that look polished and professional. Being able to print colorful certificates, classroom displays, and student-created work has boosted their confidence and motivation to do their very best.\r\nSeveral students who benefit from visual supports have especially embraced this new technology. Color coding helps them organize information, follow directions, and make connections more easily. Students who are hesitant writers or learners who need additional support have become more engaged because the materials are clearer and more inviting. Even my most reluctant learners are eager to participate when lessons include vibrant, colorful resources.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and helping create a classroom where learning is engaging, creative, and accessible for everyone. When my kids came in this morning from Winter break, they were ecstatic to see all the new books that arrived while we were gone. My room was silent for 30 minutes while students read the new books. \r\n\r\nThey are so thankful to you for your donations. These books will continue to capture the attention of current and future students, fostering their love of reading.
