Your generosity helped transform our classroom by providing students with academic, organizational, creative, and social-emotional tools that supported them throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nThe headphones provided students with greater opportunities to use technology independently for digital assignments, educational programs, assessments, and differentiated practice without distracting their classmates. Our presentation remote helped make whole-group lessons more interactive and allowed me to move throughout the classroom while teaching rather than remaining at my computer. The dry-erase pockets also gave students a reusable way to practice skills, respond during lessons, and demonstrate their understanding.\r\n\r\nYour support extended far beyond technology. The Crayola art supplies gave students materials to express their creativity and complete classroom projects, while the rolling cart and organizational supplies helped keep frequently used materials accessible and ready for learning. Our laminator allowed me to create durable instructional resources that could be reused throughout the year, and the barcode scanner helped us create a more organized classroom library system so students could more easily access and keep track of books.\r\n\r\nThe sensory and social-emotional materials were especially valuable in helping create a classroom environment that supported the whole child. Students were able to use calming tools and visual supports to regulate their emotions, refocus, and prepare themselves to return to learning. Our visual timer also helped students better understand transitions and manage their time during independent work and classroom activities.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, I was able to create a classroom that was more organized, engaging, accessible, and responsive to the different ways my students learn. These materials did not simply provide supplies—they gave my students more opportunities to participate, build independence, express themselves, and feel supported in their classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and giving them the tools they needed to learn, create, grow, and thrive. Your support made a meaningful difference in our classroom, and we are incredibly grateful! 💚📚","fullyFundedDate":1758202774274,"projectUrl":"project/empower-young-minds-with-the-tools-to-th/9476586/","projectTitle":"Empower Young Minds With the Tools to Thrive","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Billups","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9589082_orig.jpg?crop=1250,1250,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1720707066505","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9589082"},{"teacherId":9589082,"projectId":9476475,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting \"Voices on the Page: Building a Love of Reading.\" Your generosity helped provide my students with books that allowed them to see reading as more than an assignment—it became an opportunity to explore new perspectives, connect with characters, and discover stories that captured their interests.\r\n\r\nThese books have supported important literacy skills such as comprehension, identifying theme, making inferences, analyzing characters, discussing an author's message, and using evidence from the text to support ideas. Just as importantly, students have had opportunities to talk about what they are reading, share their opinions, make connections to their own experiences, and recommend books to one another.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is about building both strong readers and students who genuinely enjoy books. It has been wonderful to see students become excited about choosing a book, finding a story that speaks to them, and having conversations with their classmates about what they are reading. Even students who may not always consider themselves readers benefit when they have access to engaging books that reflect a variety of voices, experiences, and interests.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, these books will continue to be available for students to enjoy for years to come.
