They removed the old fabric and foam, removing staples with pliers, then measured, cut, and stapled the materials to create beautiful new benches. In this way, they took ownership of the seating which will be part of the school building for years to come. Students are proud of their work, as I am proud of their collaborative efforts, and look forward to using them throughout the school year. We delivered all remaining materials and the staple gun to our STEAM teacher so that she can utilize the donated items for projects across all grade levels as well. \r\n\r\nThanks again for your support! The students absolutely love the gift we received due to your generosity. The students love using the tables to engage in collaborative work together, using the dry erase surface to jot quick notes, and sharing their ideas.\r\n The tables have also allowed them the opportunities to explore science experiments and have plenty of space for completing investigations and deepening their understanding of scientific concepts through working collaboratively and engaging in academic discourse has made this year and these activities amazing.\r\n What is even more impressive is watching the students working together to protect and care for this generous gift to our classroom.
