The gifts you have given me and my students makes all the difference in their education. \r\n\r\nWorking in a low-income and diverse community, my goal was to find literature that represented my students. With books like Drum Dream Girl and Maria Makes Music, I can show my students that music is created by everyone and for everyone. I am extremely grateful, and my students are going to be very excited about this addition to our classroom library. \r\n\r\nThis year is my first year teaching orchestra. As a band person, it was a new challenge to learn about the string world. Supplies like the rosin, conducting baton, laminating pouches, and instrument family posters helped to relieve some stress in preparing my classroom. It truly can be the little things that make all the difference. \r\n\r\nAll of the materials I received have made the greatest impact on my students.
