They use the white board to just come and check out books from the check out shelves. They take them back to their classrooms and have chapter books that look just like everyone else, but they are at their individual reading levels so they are actually reading during this time in the classroom. \r\n\r\nThis has been so exciting to see. Many students check out or choose books based on how they look, so they look similar to their peers, but are much too difficult for them to read.
