These materials have made it possible for students in my classroom to practice their music literacy. They now have whiteboards, markers and erasers to practice writing the music staff, notes on the staff and rhythms. Having these materials means all of my students, for many years, will be able to learn to read and write music. These materials will also give students the opportunity to learn and practice their music literacy skills individually at their own pace. This also allows me the freedom to move around the classroom to help students individually who need it, as well as take assessments of their learning more easily. \r\nThe music stands I received from these donations also allows students to perform individually or in small groups at their grade level performances. Students will also use these to practice their reading skills while introducing songs at our performances. I am so grateful to have these music stands because I was able to purchase the high quality music stands that will last a very long time and will be used by many students throughout the years.","fullyFundedDate":1727462615580,"projectUrl":"project/music-literacy/8570325/","projectTitle":"Music Literacy","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stokke","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9631295"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_41432","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":313,"numTeachers":20,"percentFrplEligible":24,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":82,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":82.4,"schoolId":41432,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Hygiene Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Hygiene Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/st-vrain-valley-school-district-re-1j/hygiene-elementary-school/41432"}
