Your support has sent a powerful message to my students that their unique way of learning is seen, respected, and supported.\r\nThe impact of these tools was immediate. Students who previously struggled to remain in their seats during independent work now use the chair leg bands to discreetly channel their energy, allowing them to stay engaged with their assignments for much longer periods. The Bouncy Board and sensory stretch bands have become favorite outlets for students who require \"heavy work\" or deep pressure to regulate their nervous systems. By having these outlets readily available, we have seen a noticeable decrease in frustration and a significant increase in the \"ready-to-learn\" mindset that is so vital for success in the classroom.\r\nPerhaps most meaningful is how the Sit and Twist cushions have empowered my students to take ownership of their own sensory regulation. They are learning to identify when their bodies need movement and are choosing the appropriate tool to help them settle back into their tasks. Of particular popularity in both classrooms are the movement tools such as the balance board and the seat bands. \r\nThe students in our program have also all enjoyed working hard to be able to earn prizes in the prize box as a result of responsibility, respect and rigor in the classroom.
