Every morning, students eagerly ask if we can play our new favorites—Uno, Blokus, and our math board games.\r\n\r\nWe recently finished learning how to calculate area and perimeter, and Blokus has been a wonderful hands-on way for students to apply those concepts in a fun, visual way. It's amazing to see them strategize with shapes while strengthening their spatial reasoning skills. The Uno cards have also been a big hit—students are using them to practice multiplication facts, number recognition, and even teamwork and communication.\r\n\r\nThese games have transformed math practice into something joyful and collaborative.
