Our students see the deer so often that they don't actually see them, so this project was a way to create so recognition of this unhealthy ecosystem.\r\nStudents in grades 6 - 8 created projects investigating the deer through the lenses of biology, reproduction, ecology, local real estate, local wildlife jobs, traffic (yes, the deer do impact local traffic!), and habitat. \r\nWhat your donation helped support was the physical materials for students to create diaramas, posters, and detailed slide decks that explained their learning. We were able to invite in many stakeholders in our community including the local Parks & Wildlife officers, wildlife biologists, and some parents to watch the students present their learnings.
