Your donations ended up being extra important this year, because we had more players join the team than expected. Lincoln typically has one varsity team, but this year we had two full teams. It's so exciting to see our softball program growing! \r\n\r\nFor many of our players, this was not only their first time playing softball, but the first time being on a sports team. This connection to school, responsibility of being a student athlete, and finding a new sport was very impactful for these new players. For our returning players, they had the opportunity to hone their skills. Our 8th graders are all planning on playing softball next year in high school. Regardless of their level of skill, all players had a fun season. \r\n\r\nAllowing more students to participate in softball was possible because of your generous donation to our team.
