There are so many benefits for students who code. Programming allow students to authentically learn computation thinking which enables them to develop cognitive skills and logical thought process. These skills can also be applied to other situations and will help students in all areaas of life. The students will participate in a variety of lessons and design challenges that explore the different sensors and componets of the codeable device. The lessons comprise of how to create movement for the devices, using grids, loops, playing sound, light alarms, automatic lights, line tracking sensors, infared detection, detecting obstacles, and LED programming.
