Students regularly come to class early to try and get assigned the roofing job since they enjoy it so much! Each student has their own toolbelt and hammer now, reducing the times when they are unequiped and the care they have taken with these tools. Our old hammers have started breaking (many were craft hammers, not construction hammers) so the new ones have been even more valuable!\r\n\r\nWith your support we are not only teaching trades skills, we have built a self sustaining program that promotes our program and provides material for younger grades. We would still be building without your support, but students would have been frustrated and our supplies would be dwindling.
