Last year was amazing. Over fifty 4th grade students were introduced to string, brass and wood wind instruments. This culmanated with them playing these instruments in an exremely sucessful concert. Students from 5th - 8th grade also continued their musical journey. Some even performing at a local nursing home.\r\n\r\nYour generousity has allowed these students to now continue their journing. Also a new group up 4th graders will begin their journey, but this year students will not have to share instruments in class. Now in a few instinces some students may be allowed to check out and then practice these instruments at home. This is a major accompishment.\r\n\r\nI can't describe the excitement these students have as they begin to use these instruments. From making literacy fun with a full full-fledged adventure reading around the campfire in folding BEAR CHAIRS to enjoying physical activity and fresh air at recess with new playground balls you helped to enrich the experience of students for years to come!
