It makes the work and space more equitable. They all enjoy reading and writing pattern words, new phonics rules, rhymes, and encoding. They also prefer taking spelling tests on these boards for a more fun option that I then data track. They are able to have a writable surface with them wherever they travel within the classroom and hopefully in the spring outside too!
