Because of you, 30 families at Wheat Ridge Senior High School will have access to essential food staples during winter break—a time when many of our students face increased food insecurity without access to school meals.\r\n\r\nEach family will receive a box filled with nourishing pantry essentials like rice, beans, pasta, oatmeal, tomato sauce, cooking oil, sugar, and salt. These simple ingredients may seem small, but they make a powerful difference. They allow families to prepare warm breakfasts, comforting dinners, and filling meals that bring both nourishment and peace of mind.\r\n\r\nYour support does more than provide food—it sends a message. It tells our students that they are seen, valued, and cared for by their school community. When they return after break, they will do so not only fed, but with the reassurance that someone believed in them enough to help.\r\n\r\nIn a school where many students come from historically underfunded communities, your kindness has a direct impact on their well-being and readiness to learn. You are helping to remove barriers, restore dignity, and create a more equitable learning environment.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this possible. Your generosity has transformed compassion into action, bringing warmth, care, and comfort to families when they need it most.","fullyFundedDate":1766067698225,"projectUrl":"project/meals-for-students-experiencing-food-ins/9892461/","projectTitle":"Meals for Students Experiencing Food Insecurity Over Break","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mendez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1905242_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1603248306307","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/monica-mendez"},{"teacherId":9256954,"projectId":9079597,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness in giving my classes the ability to have a little fun and competition in their learning. Even more importantly, you've empowered students to take the lead in organizing, maintaining, and promoting this resource with empathy and purpose.\r\n\r\nThis project is teaching them so much more than logistics.
