Many had never owned brand-new art supplies before, and the moment they saw the quality of the materials, they immediately started brainstorming what they wanted to create. The energy in the room was electric—students flipped through their sketchbooks, tested out the vibrant colors, and shared ideas with one another.\r\n\r\nWe've already started using these materials in our current unit, where students are creating personal narrative artworks that combine drawing and painting techniques. The new pencils allow for detailed sketching, while the markers and paints give their work bold, expressive color. These supplies have not only improved the quality of their projects but have also boosted their confidence in sharing their work with the class.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be exploring mixed media projects, blending different tools to create layered, textured pieces. Thanks to your generosity, my students now have the freedom to experiment, make mistakes, and discover their own artistic voices with professional-quality materials. These chairs have made such a huge impact already. I have students who sit there every period of the day and work on school work. The chairs have chargers attached to them, so students do not have to move based on electricity needs. \r\n\r\nA group of girls taking an online college class meet their every day to work on their class in the small group setting. My wrestlers, that have morning and afternoon practice, claimed the chairs every second period to rest and comfortably before their next class. They often will pull out their chromebooks to work on classwork while lounging. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for seeing my students and making them a priority.
