With the new shelving in place, we now have the space to create eye-catching, front-facing displays throughout the library. Students are drawn to covers they can actually see, and we've noticed them picking up books they would have walked past before. One student paused at a new display and said, \"I've been looking for something like this!\" a moment that reminded me why visible, attractive displays matter so much for young readers.\r\n\r\nThe additional space has also allowed us to expand our collection meaningfully. We can now purchase new titles without worrying about where they'll fit, and we've already added books across multiple genres to meet our students' diverse interests. Our fiction and non-fiction sections finally have room to grow, and we're building a collection that truly reflects the needs of 7th through 12th graders.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to create rotating thematic displays tied to classroom units, cultural celebrations, and student interests. Teachers are excited to collaborate on curated collections that support their curriculum, and students have already asked to help design displays.
