It's helped students feel more grounded and ready to learn, and it's opened up some meaningful conversations that weren't happening before.\r\n\r\n\r\nCurrently, we're working on implementing a SEL center during our literacy centers when students can work on emotional regulation and naming feelings. Next, we'll be connecting these skills to group work in academic settings — helping students apply SEL strategies when collaborating on assignments and managing classroom responsibilities.
