Every year, my goal is to give students access to the kinds of tools and experiences that will prepare them for a rapidly changing, tech-driven world. However, in a smaller school setting, we often have to make difficult choices about where our funds go. Textbooks, classroom supplies, and core resources always come first, which means that technology—though essential—sometimes has to wait.\r\n\r\nThat's why your generosity means so much to me and to my students. Having the opportunity to introduce them to different operating systems, editing software, and creative platforms is truly transformative. Many of my students come into class with limited exposure to technology beyond their phones or tablets. Being able to guide them through real-world applications—like photo and video editing, word processing, and digital presentation tools—opens doors to skills they'll use for the rest of their lives.\r\n\r\nIt's not just about learning how to click the right buttons; it's about giving them the confidence to explore, problem-solve, and express themselves in new ways. Technology can turn an ordinary lesson into something that feels relevant, engaging, and empowering. For example, when my students work on multimedia projects, they're not only learning about the subject matter—weaving together writing, art, and research—but also building collaboration and communication skills that are vital in any field.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has made this possible. The resources you've helped provide allow me to create lessons that reflect the world my students are growing up in—a world where digital literacy is as essential as reading and math. Instead of feeling left behind or limited by what we don't have, my students can now experience the excitement of discovery and creativity that comes with having access to the right tools.\r\n\r\nI've already seen how these new opportunities have sparked curiosity and confidence in my classroom. Students who were once hesitant to try something new are now volunteering to teach their peers how to edit a video, format a slideshow, or troubleshoot a software issue. They're not just learning from me—they're learning from each other, which is exactly the kind of collaborative, hands-on environment I've always hoped to foster.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make that possible. Your support doesn't just provide equipment—it provides inspiration. It tells my students that people beyond our school walls believe in their potential and want to see them succeed. For many of them, that message is just as important as the tools themselves.\r\n\r\nI truly can't thank you enough for your generosity, your investment in education, and your belief in the power of opportunity. Because of you, my students are not only learning how to use technology, but also how to imagine, create, and build futures they might not have thought possible.\r\n\r\nThank you so much!","fullyFundedDate":1746787356567,"projectUrl":"project/technology-for-small-group-instruction/9320510/","projectTitle":"Technology for Small Group Instruction","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fiedler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9293936"},{"teacherId":9293936,"projectId":9437186,"letterContent":"We are so excited as our supplies trickle in!
