Your donation of essential art media and equipment has not merely furnished a classroom; it has fundamentally transformed our art studio into the blended, high-capacity space we dreamed of. Our students are already seeing remarkable shifts in what they can achieve.\r\n\r\nThe impact of your donation can be seen across three critical areas of our program: expanded capacity, true student ownership, and elevated project quality.\r\n\r\n1. Exponential Capacity for Digital Photography\r\n\r\nOne of the greatest limitations we faced was the ability for students to capture their surroundings digitally and share their work, a challenge immediately solved by your support. The provision of stylus for their editing and a printer they can use at will, has increased students ownership and photography skills greatly!\r\n\r\n2. Increased Agency and Ownership\r\n\r\nYour contribution empowered our young creators with the tools necessary to truly take ownership of their artistic decisions. The new supply of high-precision Stylus Pens for the iPad immediately enhanced their digital drawing and photo editing experience. Students moved from using clumsy finger movements to accurate, controlled refinement of their work, giving them greater agency over the final digital product. In addition the green screens and product light boxes have allowed us to cover units in the Colorado visual art standards we were unable to include before your donations. \r\n\r\nFurthermore, stocking the studio with high-quality materials—from plenty of ink and photo printing paper—meant students were no longer limited by resource scarcity. They now have the confidence to choose the best medium for their artistic vision, whether traditional or digital, fostering a sense of professionalism and commitment to their voice that was previously unattainable.\r\n\r\n3. Elevated Projects to a Whole New Level\r\n\r\nThe quality of our finished student projects has taken a dramatic leap forward. The Epson EcoTank Printer paired with the Koala Glossy Inkjet Paper allows students to move their digital creations (including refined photos and illustrations) from screen to print with vibrant, professional fidelity. For the first time, they are generating portfolio pieces that look ready for a gallery, not just a refrigerator door.\r\n\r\nIn short, you have helped us provide the necessary bridge for our students to connect their immense, natural inspiration with high-quality execution. They are now creating, dreaming, and sharing their unique Rocky Mountain stories with tools that match their talent.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in these bright, imaginative young creators. We are excited to share their future masterpieces with you.","fullyFundedDate":1758855372750,"projectUrl":"project/from-mountain-views-to-masterpieces-a-b/9658741/","projectTitle":"From Mountain Views to Masterpieces: a Blended Photography Studio","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Barberi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9063931_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y386&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756343222846","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ephsartstudio"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_42380","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":300,"numTeachers":24,"percentFrplEligible":54,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":60,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":35,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"12.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":96.0,"schoolId":42380,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Estes Park High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Estes Park High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/estes-park-school-district-r-3/estes-park-high-school/42380"}
